The objective of our company ‘Suriname Business Center’ is the production of cost-competitive, environment-friendly biofuels using biomass. This fuel is intended to serve the constantly growing demand for fuel in Suriname and the rest of the world. We intend to start the production of biofuels as soon as possible and reach the complete installation capacity within 3 years of commissioning.
As a green company with Honeywell as our technology partner, we honor our environmental responsibility by maintaining the balance between our endeavor to build the most efficient and clean biofuel plant in the world, and our environment. In other words, several parts of the land we own (which is over 20,000 acres) will be designated and protected as a nature reserve where flora and fauna are protected. We call these areas our green zones.
